One sunny day, Ana packed a basket.
Her cat, Mimi, followed with a purr.
They walked to the garden.
The flowers danced in the breeze.
Ana laid a soft, blue blanket.
She placed the basket on top.
Mimi sat beside her, tail curled.
They smiled at the sky.

A bunny hopped over.
“Can I join?” he asked.
“Yes, of course!” said Ana.
Mimi meowed happily.
Then came a squirrel, with a nut.
He brought cookies to share.
A bird flew down from a tree.
She sang a sweet song.
They all laughed and nibbled snacks.
Juice, fruit, and tiny cakes!
Ana brought crayons and paper.
“Let’s draw the garden,” she said.
The bunny drew flowers.
The squirrel sketched a tree.
The bird made dots with her feet.
Ana drew them all smiling.
Mimi added a paw print.
The sun gently glowed.
The garden was full of joy.
When it was time to go,
Ana said, “Thank you, friends.”
“Let’s have another picnic soon!”
“Yes!” they all cheered.
Mimi purred, happy and warm.
And the garden whispered,
“Come back again, little dreamers.”
