Little Tiger and the Grumpy Elephant’s Kind Adventure

In a quiet forest, a Little Tiger played by the stream.

He liked to sing, paint, and make daisy crowns.

One morning, he heard a loud sigh.

It came from behind a big tree.

Little Tiger peeked.

There sat a big, grey elephant.

He looked very grumpy.

His ears drooped. His trunk hung low.

“Hello,” said Little Tiger softly.

“Are you okay?”

The elephant shook his head.

“No. I’m too big. I’m too loud. I break everything.”

Little Tiger sat beside him.

“I will sit with you,” he said kindly.

“We don’t have to talk. Just sit.”

The elephant blinked.

No one had ever done that.

After a while, he said,

“I used to paint. But my trunk is clumsy.”

Little Tiger smiled.

“I like to paint too! Want to try with me?”

They dipped their paws and trunk in colors.

Splish! Splash! Swirl!

Soon, the trees were full of painted leaves.

Red, blue, purple—happy and bright!

The elephant laughed.

“I like this!”

Little Tiger giggled.

“Me too. I’m glad you smiled.”

From that day, they painted together.

Sometimes they talked. Sometimes they didn’t.

Little Tiger learned:

Sometimes, being a good friend

means listening—and painting too.
